From April 11 to May 23, 2010, more than two million pilgrims made their way to the Cathedral of Saint John the Baptist in Turin, in the North of Italy. They came to contemplate one of the most mysterious objects of the western world: the Shroud of Turin.
This cloth, made of linen fibers, is the only one in the world on which one can observe the imprint of the body that it has wrapped: a man who died on a cross and, according to medical examination, who has undergone atrocious torture. It is the reflection of the Gospel in pictures: the Passion of Jesus Christ is revealed in the minutest of details!
In the course of this film, several questions are raised and the answers lead us to a real contemplation of this shroud which, up to now, remains a complete mystery.
